Na de stormen belet nu ook het Corona Covid-19 virus de Ostend Pirates hun seizoen te starten. Niet alleen de wedstrijden maar ook alle trainingen zijn voorlopig geannuleerd.
Uiteraard gaat de gezondheid van spelers, staff en supporters voor.
Hopelijk kunnen we in april een nieuwe start nemen. We houden jullie op de hoogte!

Update – Corona Covid-19 virus

Following the recent communications (eg. ban on sport events in Flanders) and other expected measures to be taken the BAFL board decided to suspend all national (Seniors, Cadets, Flag) competitions until March 31st.

American Football, as any sport, has the power to bring people together. We realize this decision will halt our sport for a few weeks (at least) and prevent to play the sport we all love.

But, we do not want to create a risk for our players, fans, coaches and volunteers and prefer to take a careful approach in making sure our communities can return to normal as soon as possible.
